Our sister Faye tells us about her visit to her favourite local pancake cafe in Chester.

Today was my first visit to Hanky Panky Pancakes and trust me I will be returning! Whether you’re more into savoury pancakes or have a sweet tooth like me, this place has got it all. With their friendly and informative staff to guide you through the process, you can soon begin to create the pancake of your dreams.

The system is simple, choose from a savoury crepe, a sweet crepe or create a stack of scotch pancakes. The stack pancakes are very exciting, you can choose a topping, an ice cream and a sauce, the combinations and possibilities are endless.

Unfortunately they had ran out of gluten free self raising flour when I went so I couldn’t make my own stack of pancakes, but I chose a sweet crepe which was recommended to me by the waiter, Sticky Toffee Pudding. The pancakes are delicious and I would urge everyone to visit if they are in the area.
