These two aperitifs take me back to my glorious holiday in Italy.  They are super quick to make and just the colour of them are sure to cheer you up after the end of a long week.

Aperol Spritz

Serves 1

Ingredients

A handful of ice cubes
50ml Aperol
75ml prosecco
A splash of soda water
1 slice of orange

Method

  1. Add lots of ice to a large white wine glass. Pour over the Aperol, followed by the Prosecco.
  2. Stir once and finish the drink with a splash of soda water and a slice of orange.

Garibaldi 

Serves 1

Ingredients

A handful of ice cubes
50ml Campari
120ml blood orange juice
1 slice of orange

Method

  1. Add Campari and blood orange juice into a glass full of ice.
  2. Give a quick stir, garnish with an orange slice and serve.
